Rachel Vallarelli was a stand out goalie at UMASS earning all sorts of school, conference, and NCAA records.
She’s been part of USA National Team program since 2010 when she played at the U19 level.
She went on to play professional women’s lacrosse in the UWLX.
As if that wasn’t tough enough she’s played goalie in the men’s indoor game as well.
She’s currently a free agent in the NLL after being invited to tryouts for the Riptide and to the US Elite NLL Combine this past fall. She was also drafted to the Whitby Steelhawks in the ALL in Canada.
She currently training goalies and atheletes with her business Rav Lax.
She joins the Lax Goalie Rat podcast this week to discuss her upbringing lacrosse, her to journey to that elite level, and what its like to compete against the boys.
