AJ Barretto was the backstop of a great Army West Point defense for 4 years. As the team’s 4 year starter AJ was the wall.
AJ was always one of my favorite goalies to watch. I have a bias towards shorter goalies and AJ is definitely that at 5’6″ but he can make some sweet stops and lead that D.
Listen to the story of how AJ became a 4 year starter for Army and got to the level of goalie play that he was known for. He’s from outside of Baltimore and started playing lacrosse at 7 and got some coaching from the Goalieman himself – Jon Weston.
