Coach Bill Pilat – LGR Episode 47
Many of you already know my next guest Coach Bill Pilat.
He has been running live lacrosse goalie camps all over the US for 25 years! So it’s no stretch to say that Coach Bill Pilat and his goalie coaching staff have coached more goalies than anyone in the world.
Entering his 28th season on the Roanoke College sidelines, Bill Pilat has accumulated well over 65 percent of the men’s lacrosse wins in school history. A 1985 graduate of the college, Pilat has won 302 games in his head coaching career, while losing just 110. Pilat is by far the winningest coach in the team’s history.
When I was learning the position Coach Pilat was one of the only coaches putting our videos and live camps so I learned tons of stuff from him.

I’ve been hoping you would interview bill, I’ve had the honor of meeting him as well as going to his camp. A very grueling experience but it all pays off in the end. I’ve had so much fun in three days it was more than worth the money. Its probably the best place to learn to play goalie since there aren’t many other dedicated camps that you go to but many online ones.
